Maggie composing a shot as her photography teacher, Buddy, looks on. The Argus Model A camera was the very first "Low-Cost" 35mm film camera. Before the Argus "A" Kodak was counting on their 127 roll film to be the standard consumer film format, but they soon changed to 35mm. Photographers needed film for their new Argus 35mm cameras and Kodak saw the popularity with the Model A selling over Thirty thousand units in the first weeks of production.
