is best known for their model C-3 (Nicknamed the
The Brick) built from 1939 until 1966.
The brick shaped model C-3 still holds the record as
the best selling camera of all times.
Argus was one of the first camera companies to make
a low coast 35mm camera (1836 Model A) bringing
the 35mm film format into popularity.
